#2: Jacob Wasserman, a member of the Humboldt hockey team who survived the horrific team bus crash in 2018 but was paralyzed from the waist down, has made the 2024 Paralympics in rowing.
In 2018, Jacob Wasserman was paralyzed from the navel down in a bus crash that killed 16 members of his Humboldt hockey team.
He tried sledge hockey, until a friend suggested rowing.
Now, after winning medals for Canada, he's qualified for the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.

Las Vegas has released a 40-page report breaking down the economic impact of last year's Formula 1 race.

#4: Korean superstar Jung Hoo Lee hits his first homerun in the MLB with his dad in attendance.
Jung Hoo Lee was the Korean league's MVP and is the son of one of the greatest Korean baseball players ever.
He signed with the San Francisco Giants, and this weekend hit his first MLB home run—with his dad in attendance.

#5: I’m a sucker for big play gimmicks — i.e., turnover chains, home run tunnels, etc. The Little Caesars home run staff just took over the top spot as my favorite.
The Little Caesars pizza dugout celebration just put the rest of the league on notice. Can’t be the team that half asses the dugout props now. The game has changed.
